Canvas Rebel Feature: Life and Work of Talyn Rahman-Figueroa

I'm excited to share some big news! Recently, I was featured in an article on Los Angeles Wire titled "A Trained Diplomat Rebrands Herself"—and it captures my journey from feeling invisible to becoming the personal brand consultant I am today. This piece is incredibly special to me, as it tells my story of resilience, transformation, and the power of personal branding.

I’m excited to share that I was recently featured again in an article by Canva Rebel! This article talks about my journey and the work I do as a personal brand consultant. It’s a great chance for me to share my story and what I’ve learned with more people.

Here are some important points from the article:

  • From Diplomat to Business Owner: I started my career as a diplomat for the UK, but I had some hard choices to make about working for the government. A mentor encouraged me to start my own company, called Grassroot Diplomat, where I helped public figures build their personal brands for 10 years. In 2019, I moved to the U.S. and decided to focus on helping solo entrepreneurs, creating my new company called Boss Diplomat to help them become premium brands.

  • My Personal Brand Journey: I believe that a personal brand is always changing. I share my own challenges, like when I tried to launch a YouTube channel and podcast but ran into problems with hiring and social media. After learning from experts, I created better ways to help my clients grow their brands faster and without spending too much money.

  • Helping Clients Succeed: As a Personal Brand Consultant, I help my clients create systems that let them charge more money, work less, and attract really good clients. My goal is to help them find their unique stories and personalities, which often leads to amazing changes that help them take control of their brands.

  • Thinking About Risks in Business: Being an entrepreneur is risky! I stress how important it is to manage time wisely and plan carefully to avoid feeling overwhelmed. I teach my clients how to use time-blocking techniques to stay efficient and visible without working all the time. A strong personal brand can help bring in business, but it takes a good plan and effective content to make it work.
